Increase in Residential Housing Costs
Redline Quantity Surveyors report that there has been a 11.1% increase in residential housing costs in South-East Queensland from 2023 to 2024 on the back of a 30.3% increase from 2022 to 2023.
Please note, the above percentages are based on homes completed in 2023 and 2024 ie the contracts are typically in place up to 12 months prior to home completion. Redline Quantity Surveyors anticipate reporting an increase between 3% and 5% for homes completed in 2025.
